Character Bio

Abramelin was a highly educated merchant's son over 600 years ago. He developed an interest in Alchemy and Quabbalah which he pursued using monies his family gave him. He eventually moved beyond these two forms of magic and embraced a whole spectrum of magical philosophies. In order to help defer costs he eventually took on apprentices, including one named Abraham.  Eventually he encountered a magi who had decided that he would rule the world. Of course Abramelin realized he was one of the few who could defeat this man and faced him in a magical duel of sorts. There was an explosion of magical energies and when the dust settled the remains of the evil magi were burned to prevent any possibility of resurrection. Abramelin's body was not found.  Recently there was an explosion of magical energy along a ley line near the city near a nexus, and Abramelin appeared. Responding Watchfire members took him in and are helping to acclimate him to the modern era.
