Once an prominent silicon valley programmer, Tricia, watched her job outsourced and fell into a state of depression. Choosing a homeopathic/mystical route to cure her blues she was burning scented candles, muttering some chant and looking into a prism way too closely when the Rikti struck. She was knocked unconscious and found herself in a hospital.....normal but injured and without medical insurance. Tricia's anger and frustration were so great upon receipt of her medical bill that it tore a hole into an interdimensional world and bonded her soul to that of the demon, Verlis.
