With the loss of worshippers even the gods may die. Such was the case with the Phoenician sun god Baal Hammon, as Christianity swept thru Europe his followers dwindled while the upstart church even usurped his name to be seen as synonomous with the Devil. With the loss of the last of his flock, Baal Hammon became one of many Dead Gods floating through the Crypt Limbo, deities lost to memory but still accessible if future generations were to ever rekindle their worship.

Centuries later, a group of teenagers looking for new means of rebellion have started up a Cult of Baal Hammon, bored children playing a game with ramifications they don't even realize. Baal Hammon is reborn. Greatly reduced in power from his Zeus-like status 2000 years previous, the former god still possesses great might and has set out to recover his lost position among the global pantheon. As his misdeeds continue and his legends grow more followers are attracted to his young but thriving cult.
