Character Bio

The hero known as Doctor Gravitas was once the brilliant physician, Dr. Alexander Benedict who worked tirelessly in his attempt to aid the wounded of the city. His greatest work was in collaboration with the renowned Dr. Nicholas Faust to determine the composition and behavior of the arcane empathy particles utilized by certain magic based metahumans, and to duplicate such effects through scientific means. After working at the issue for some time, they were able to identify these particles. With this new knowledge, Dr. Benedict was able to develop specialized nanomachines that behavied similarly to their arcane counterparts. Sadly there was an accident during their initial test, and his body was almost destroyed. However, Dr. Faust was able to transfer Benedict's soul into a mechanical construct which continually released these machines to sustain what remained of his body. The suit is powered by an intense focusing crystal that draws in all around it, giving him mastery over gravitational fields.
