Character Bio

Like many things concerning Sarakiel, it is uncertain whether he is unable to speak or simply chooses not to. The blind hero communicates almost entirely in complex hand signals and body language, though how he learned such visual cues without the advantage of sight is one of the many puzzles which surround him. It is said that darkness follows on the heels of Sarakiel wherever he goes, held to him by the force of his will. When angered, Sarakiel has the power to unleash shrieking bursts of sound which incapacitate his enemies.

Respected mystics in Paragon City have theorized that Sarakiel may be a host for some kind of extradimentional being - some kind of alliance the details of which are known only to the parties involved. The script across Sarakiel's golden belt is the only clue to his identity, a form of Aramaic that has not been used in centuries.
