Character Bio

Once a prominent scientist before the Rikti War, Dr. Samuel Newton was working late in his lab at Crey Industries when a wild shot from a nearby firefight destroyed half the research wing.

After a month in a coma, Newton awoke to discover that he could feel the currents of force he had spent his life studying, and with practice learned to manipulate them as well. As a tribute to the brave heroes who saved his life while battling the Rikti invasion, the physicist has taken up the cowl himself, hoping to do some good.

When not fighting evil, Mr. Massive continues as an associate professor at Paragon University. He enjoys classic literature, scientific inquiry and Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVDs..
