Character Bio

The sorcerer Cloutier was legendary for his powers of insight and concentration, his intuitive grasp of the intangible forces which surround us. Renowned throughout 16th century Europe, Cloutier's obsession was unlocking the secret of the Philosopher's Stone and with it, eternal life... but despite his best efforts, he came to realize that he could never gather the rare materials he needed within his lifetime.

Thus, he committed his vast fortune to a network of spies and trusted agents and sealed himself outside of time and space, waiting for his followers to complete their task.

The last survivors of the Cult of Cloutier opened the door to their master's sanctuary out of desperation during the Rikti invasion, and while the sorcerer was less than pleased that the full ingredients were not yet assembled, it was a simple matter in this modern world to buy the last remaining bits using the computer the late cult leader had owned. Now immortal, Cloutier turns his eye to power.
