Character Bio

Professor Arthur Levinson spent his childhood admiring the great heroes. Though frail of body, Levinson dedicated his keen mind to the cause; the good fight, the neverending battle against the dark.

So it was that in the aftermath of the Rikti War, Prof. Levinson organized and led search teams which scoured the most dangerous regions of the devastated city for survivors and injured heroes. Understaffed, Levinson often led one of these teams himself, and it was on one such expedition that his team happened upon something strange, a mangled craft neither Rikti nor human.

His team begged him to stay back, but the professor knelt down and lifted the injured creature from the wreck. The dying pilot offered the aging human a bargain - renewed strength and power to join in the epic struggle directly, but no longer as he had been. Levinson agreed on the spot, and now fights evil under the name of the Angel of Temperance, Cassiel of the Second Star.
