Character Bio

Born Ian Carlton Evander IV, Perfect Quartz was spoiled practically from birth, his every whim indulged. It was only too late that his wealthy family discovered that what Quartz wanted most was the freedom and power that their money would bring.

It is unknown from precisely which of the labs his family funded that Quartz acquired the remarkable suit which grants him his powers, and it seems likely that such a lab and everyone connected with it would have been quietly erased shortly after he came into possession of the suit. Experts doubt any plans or records will ever be found.

Vain, capricious and easily offended, Perfect Quartz is potentially as dangerous to his allies as to his enemies. For the time being he seems to be firmly entrenched in Black Amethyst's Shattered Jewels Society, to which he provides a great deal of funding, but that could change at any time.
