Character Bio

Cain D'anclaude couldn't have known what his fate would be when he volunteered to be an explorer with Portal Corps. Cain was the first to explore a mysterious uncharted dimension, utterly deserted despite having all the signs of civilization.

Almost immediately after he arrived, however, a massive energy surge stranded him in the unsettling alternative world. Soon, he found himself bathed in a sickly green light as a twisted shadow made its way across the barren landscape towards him.

Cain was no match for the creature he faced, the product of an ill-advised magical experiment on a global scale. Few would even recognize what eventually returned to our world as that eager young man. The transition to this world drained Pax greatly, however, and for now he is cautious, vulneralbe.

Pax's highest goal is the magical creation of a stable portal back to his home dimension, to reclaim the almost deific power he held there - and could hold again.
