Nobody knows what her real name was, and chances are good that it was wiped out when she was "programmed." Whoever she used to be, she was collected on account of her naturally superior grace and dexterity, honed by the rigors of training, drugs, and technology to be sharper than her blades. Codenamed "Oighear Dubh"--"Black Ice"--for being invisible and deadly, and the sepulchral, chilly aura generated by the exhaust from the stealth suit she wears like a second skin.
