Character Bio

Suzuki is Samurai, like her father before her.

Her mother's husband was a temporal scientist working for the Portal Corp. The day he finished the temporal portal, his team went back in time to feudal Japan, where they were attacked by samurai in the service of Tokugawa Ieyasu at the Battle of Sekigahara.

Talk about bad timing. The entire team was wiped out and the samurai who killed them came back through the portal and took over the lab, killing everyone inside, except for Suzuki's mother. Longbow lay siege to the lab, but it was almost a week before all the samurai were killed. In the meantime, Suzuki's mother became pregnant by the samurai leader, and the rest is history.

Suzuki's blade is not all she retained from her father. She is also infused with the spirit of Bushido... the Way of the Warrior.
