Character Bio

Vaughn Bannister comes from a dark future in which Sylar stole the power of persuasion from the drunk Eden McCain and used it to make everyone hate waffles, thus trapping the entity Waffles in Limbo (see Sylar IV; Waffles; Deceased: McCain, Eden II). Believing himself an avatar of Waffles, Vaughn contacted Mr. Muggles, the only other being able to resist Sylar's power (see Mr. Muggles III). The pomeranian summoned Peter Petrelli from an alternate timeline, and the three attacked Sylar (see Petrelli, Peter XV). But Joe the Plumber Prime and two more Peter Petrellis appeared, warning that the battle would cause an even darker future in which giant Manwiches rule the world (see Petrelli, Peter XIX; Petrelli, Peter XI; Deceased: Joe the Plumber Prime). Sure enough someone exploded, creating a rift in the space-time continuum through which Vaughn entered this timeline. Because of the events that occurred in Vaughn's native dimension, he has deemed humanity unfit to exist...and acts accordingly.
