Character Bio

John McManus was an agent for DATA when he was sent to investigate The Family about a rumor that they possessed special alien technology.
One night while he was on a stake out, John discovered his fiance, Jamie, was being held captive. John was caught and brought into the room that Jamie was held in. After making sure she was ok, John tried to come up with a plan to get them free.
Before they could start, one of the members of The Family entered the room and shot Jamie in the chest. John was stunned and frozen at the site. Jamie stared helplessly into John's eyes as her last breathe came.
As he turned, John was shot as well. Slowly he crawled to Jamie and held her in his arms as he died.
John awoke later in the MAGI hall. A week had past since he and Jamie were killed; their bodies discovered in the streets of Kings Row and brought to the MAGI. They could do nothing for Jamie; but found in John, his soul, in pain.
Given special powers, he now fights as Johnny Lonesome, and he's looking for The Family.
