Part of a cancelled Crey Industries project to study wailers and duplicate their sonic emissions, Maximillion Decibel created what was called the Echo Device. Combined with the accompanying power suit could give the wearer immense power when used correctly. But due to the cost of implants and training required to use it, the program was scrapped. Then came the soldiers. A detachment from Crey's private army came in to secure the project materials and "cleanse" all personnel from the site. Max was wearing the prototype suit. He fought back and killed many of the soldiers and, in the confusion, was able to escape. He has since sworn to continue his work at any cost and above all, revenge on Crey industries. Now his services can be had for a price.
