Character Bio

The Kola Superdeep Borehole was the result of a scientific drilling project of the former USSR. The project attempted to drill as deep as possible into the Earth's crust. The official statement was that the temperatures at the final depth near 41,000 feet were 356° F, too hot for sustaining operations. But the truth was much more sinister. A supeheated plane of rock and flame was found at the deepest reaches of the SG-3 borehole. Rumors of hellfire and demons were quickly squashed by the Kremlin. Attempting to harness the power led to the Kola Project, funded by the KGB and fed a steady stream of promising young candidates from the Russian military to act as human experiments. Lt. Drago Andreyov of the famed Spetsnaz was the first to survive the transformation. SG-3’s magical powers were fused to his very being allowing him to channel the powers of fire and stone to his advantage in close combat. After the fall of the USSR, he became a roaming superhero-for-hire. @Bobitron
