Character Bio

For years Nicholas Faust had been wrestling with the dilemma of devising a way to capture and imprison the city's more ruthless villains and criminals. He devised countless solutions to the problem but Paragon's villains were simply too powerful to be contained. However, after years of arcane research he eventually devised a ritual, which would allow him to temporarily trap a villain's unique essence; essentially robbing them of their superpowers. The ritual backfired however, and Nicholas Faust's soul was imprisoned within the focusing gem that would have housed the villainous essence. Although robbed of his body, Faust's mind was free from any physical chains and his arcan prowess grew tremendously, enough so that he was eventually able to create a new body out of his own mystical energy. This experience left him with superpowers of his own and he set out to do what he could not before, thus becoming Nikkolas. Although gifted with incredible powers, his situation is both a blessing and a curse.
