Character Bio

Merope Velazquez's family has a long history of piratical lifestyles. Born in Madrid, Spain in the 1980s, her father still held that tradition. Raised since she was a young girl to wield weapons and push her body to its extremes, she has always been a great fighter. Once she turned eighteen, she went on a trip througout Europe by ship with her new crew, unaware of the trouble back home. After a year, she returned to find her father's mangled, bloody body, and a few remaining Council. Before they even realized she was there, she drew her broadsword and cut them down to size, literally, screaming profanities in her native tongue. She then sat by her father's body, rosary in hand, swearing to eliminate those that did this to him, and all others that would dare do such things. However, a little money under the table here and there never hurts...
