The man now known as Ether Wraith, in younger days, was a gamer's gamer. Anything for the thrill of the game. So obsessive did he become that he went out for the ultimate thrill: a dangerous and illegal proceedure to implant a broadcast neural interface to allow him to experience his game in person. This was so far beyond anything he had experienced before. He was able to gather and manipulate the energy of the nets he used, and became adept at wielding his power in his electronic world. Eventually, he branched out from games, and became a hacker extraordinare, a man who could penetrate any file, any firewall, any system you would care to put him up against.As he became more skilled in manipulating the energy in his electronic world, he began to feel the pulse of the energy in this real world, as well, and began to form and manipulate it, just as he had on the nets. Then he decided that a better thrill could be obtained from the real world than video games, and took his show on the road.
