Character Bio

Hailing from a planet circling the star Alpha Mensae in the Mensa constellation, from a race known for their psychic abilities, the Cosmos Corps planned to mold the young Mensae into the ultimate guardian.

However, when her powerbelt was first fitted, an unfortuante side-effect caused her brain to swell to three-times its normal size, nearly killing the youngling. To compensate, the Corps was forced to remove the upper portion of her skull. A special force-shield band was fitted to protect the exposed brain matter, preventing both physical damage and contamination. The shield band gains its power from her own mind, which in turn is empowered by her belt.

Mensae recovered from the near fatal trauma, and began her training. it was soon apparant that the growth effect on her brain had also increased her psychic powers beyond that which the Cosmos Corps could measure. Her abilities in telekinetics were astounding, but more so was her ability to emit "healing energy", even at range.
