Character Bio

A brilliant Biochemist, JD was searching for a cure to cancer. With all leads coming to a dead end, and frustration ensuing, JD attempted a radical experiment involving radioactive isotopes and the power of a lightning storm. With his strong Faith, he believed this would be the answer that has plagued modern mankind. While administering the experiment on the roof of City Hall in Buffalo, NY, JD was simultaneously struck by a lightning bolt and bathed in the unknown cosmic energies of a solar eclipse that was also occuring. Somehow this fluke coupled with the exposure to the radioactive isotopes, imbued JD with the power over Gravity and the Storm. Seeking better control of his new abilities, JD made his way to Paragon City to learn from that city's abundance of super beings. He is still in his pursuit to help mankind.
