Character Bio

Down on his luck, living on the street, and desperate for cash, Mark Curry volunteered to be a human guinea pig for Crey Industries. After implanting Mark with nanomachinery, the Crey scientists declared the experiment a failure. They gave Mark a pittance and sent him back out on the street.

Soon Mark found that the machines were working as intended, coating his entire body with a thin sheen of liquid metal and causing his muscles and neurons to flex and fire at superhuman speed.

Armed with this superspeed, armor, and their side-effect (a large build-up of static electricity from friction with the air) Mark Curry set out to make a life for himself.

Of course, quickness of thought lends itself to a constant state of annoyance. A short fuse. A Mercury Trigger.
