Character Bio

Thurman Durant was a scientific engineer working in the field of heat exchange. After years of research in newer ways to heat and cool homes and business as well as refrigeration and heating units he was ready to retire.
When his daughter was raped and left in a coma Thurman was despondant and nearly had a breakdown himself when the decision was finally made to pull the plug on her life support systems. Her funeral was the worst day in his life.
After weeks of depression around the house his wife sent him to his workshop telling him to work on something productive. A few weeks later he had created a set of prototype heat exchange gauntlets that are decades, if not centuries, ahead of their time allowing him to take heat from one source/area and store or transfer it to another.
He registered as a hero, found the gang responsible for his daughter's rape and death, brought them to justice, and has decided to continue the course. Mainly to keep from falling into his depression again.
