It was a beautiful summer day. The kind created to be enjoyed to the fullest, free from responsibilities. So it was for sixteen friends, gathered together to enjoy each other's company and not much else. But tempers can flare, even on the most peaceful of days. A terse word here, a vicious comeback there. It should've been nothing. Would have been, had a young girl not been given the "gift" of her powers -- violent, uncontrollable, and terrifyingly lethal.

To all the world, sixteen teenagers died that day. In truth, the guilty one survived. Since that beautiful, horrible summer day, she has relentlessly searched the world over for control. And atonement.

Her specially designed protective suit helps provide one. The second may forever remain elusive.
