Character Bio

When Selda was young, her mother bade her hide when sounds of fighting erupted outside of their one room cottage. From the very small space under the family's bed, she witnessed the rape and murder of her mother. When the only sounds to be heard were the moans of the injured and dying, Selda crept from her hiding place, gently kissed her mother's forehead, and went to find her father.

She found him, mortally wounded, in the village square, his sythe still clutched in his fingers. With his dying breath he told Selda to go to the warrior priests of Baal and be trained so that she might avenge her village.

Selda trained for decades and became one of the very few, nigh unbeatable, female warriors of her time. Seven hundred years later, she is still picking up new tricks and bringing low the evil doers of the world.
