A child prodigy, 16 year old Ansley Wryn has a bright future ahead of her. Her parents, both Portal Corporation scientists, would love for Ansley to stay out of trouble, but even the top educational programs leave her restless to pursue her own interests.

Very much to her parents' chagrin, Ansley has become fascinated with the superheroes of Paragon. Seeing it as a challenge worthy of her abilities, she managed to -borrow- some of her parents' super-prototype electrical technology and gave herself the hero name Ryver to fight crime as her super powered idols do.

Ryver's perfectionism drives her to relentlessly tinker with her tech-toys at the expense of enjoying a carefree teenaged social life. Despite her successes she worries that her gadgetry is somehow flawed or childish, keeping her from being accepted as a true superhero. Ironically of course she has become far more than she gives herself credit for... ♀
