"Incoming!" The vessel took another salvo over the blue and green world - one last salvo it couldn't handle. "Go. Now," they told him. "You must survive." The son of the Granua saluted the crew one last time, and went out the airlock. Curling himself into a ball, he fell like a meteor, landing in the ocean near Siren's Call. He watched, he learned - then he revealed himself, dedicating himself to defending his new - though, he hopes, temporary - home.
