Ramona de Vasquez was just another low-level reporter covering the World Trade Center tragedy when falling debris ended her life. But the fabled white light at the end of the tunnel wasn't white, it blazed gold and red! From the light, the great Titan Prometheus appeared to her. Chosen by the god to be one of his recurring agents, Ramona became Mytheria, with a blessing and a warning.

"Mytherias past will aid you, but at great peril. Seek self in the realms of myth, but nothing is ever as it seems."

Currently occupying Mytheria is the "Spirit of the '90s", Gemma Flames, a British girl that had no truck with super-hero trappings that just wanted the world to be better, sod it.
