Character Bio

Lauren Jacobs was an ordinary person with an extraordinary job - a research specialist for Portal Corp. One of the first to visit what would become Firebase Zulu, she was also one of the first caught in an attack by the Rularuu. A Rularuu Wisp attacked the group just as they retreated back through the dimensional portal. The psionic strike disrupted the portal mechanism, and Lauren and two other teammates arrived at Portal Corp with severe radiation sickness.

Unlike her teammates, Lauren recovered in a matter of days. Portal Corp scans showed her body and mind altered; she somehow had begun to metabolize the energies that had sickened her teammaes, and now tested strongly for psionic ability.

Once an anthropologist, Lauren has since taken to studies of nuclear and quantum physics, fields she adopted with surprising ease. She uses this to better understand her energy powers, and coupled with SERAPH-sponsored psionic training, she has taken up the role of licensed Paragon Hero.
