Character Bio

Oktav Krassnig was a prodigy in many sciences, pioneering new ways to interface the human brain with electronics. Less known, he also spent decades studying obscure techniques of meditation and mental projection taught by mystics across the Far East. These fields conviced Oktav that the human mind was limited only by its fleshy shell. For years he pursued a goal of psychic release, mixing ancient and modern insights. He became obsessed; convinced that, as the one with this vision of mental perfection, his was the only mind worthy to acheive it.

And finally he did. Through great wealth, Oktav created a mechanial frame responsive to psychic impulses, and transferred his psyche there. His power became near boundless, and he, power mad. He mentally enslaved the entire city of Gratz, Austria before metahuman heroes defeated him. Now free after years in stasis, Oktav's powers have weakened. But with time and exercise they will return, and he will one day set the world right, according to his vision.
