Character Bio

When he was eight, Jeremy Brown was pulled out of his burning elementary school in Port Oakes by a Night Widow. She had responded when Luddites had blown up a laboratory next the school. The explosion had set a large part of the neighborhood on fire. The Night Widow managed to save several children from the burning building, though far more were killed.

Since that day, Jeremy wanted to be just like his hero. Mocked and called names by his peers for wanting to be a Widow, he persevered. His dreams were realized when it was announced that the Widows would take male applicants.

Jeremy believes that he was meant to be a Widow, and can point to series of events in his life that reinforced this belief. He calls himself Pattern Widow to honor his destiny.
