Character Bio

The wizard who was my master gave me no name. I was just his "homunculus." I was given the Bow of Ilkarben, a magical weapon with wonderous abilities. I did his bidding in all things as he struggled to rise to supremacy in his circle. After many years, he was killed by one of his many enemies. I almost shattered. Since his death, I am weaker and my memories are incomplete. But I still have the bow.

I think now that I am not simply a soul-less vessel created by magic. I suspect that if I were, I would not have survived my master's destruction. And I have an image in my mind, I believe from a time before my master, of someone named "David." I have taken a last name, as people deserve names. And I will use my bow to oppose those who would use others as pawns. As my master used me.
