Character Bio

Dmitri Mikoyan's grandfather fled the Soviet Union, taking refuge in the Etoile Islands. Armen Mikoyen, Dmitri's father, was a close associate of Lord Recluse, and was the scientist who designed the complex gyroscopic system in the Crab Spider "backpack". When Dmitri was a boy, Armen was accused of betraying Recluse and was executed for his crime. Dmitri and his siblings were sent for "re-education" and were released from the prison camp after a few years.

Dmitri is focused on rehabilitating his family's name, and worked hard to be allowed into the ranks of Arachnos again. He was proud to be made a Crab Spider, and to have his father's invention attached to his back. Originally planning on clearing his father's name, Operative Mikoyan has learned that his father was actually working to bring the downfall of Recluse. Operative Mikoyan is very determined, but now disillusioned, and is uncertain where his loyalties should lie. He is a good soldier, for the moment.
