Matt Nicholson was the most popular guide in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Folks came to New Mexico from all over, wallets open, ready to follow his every lead in order to take that 1 in 1000 fly fishing or bow hunting prize. He?d been at it for 33 years, since he was 16, glad to bag their money, their wives, daughters, or both ? sometimes at the same time. He believed entertainment for the whole family was just good marketing strategy.

While in the midst of that kind of marketing in a local bar, a face on the widescreen caught his eye. He forgot the hot mother/daughter combo and watched the name ?Fifth Reality? scroll across the screen. The Paragon City hero from an alternate reality that was making Rikti into pincushions with a sweet compound bow and high-tech arrows was quite obviously himself.

Days later, Fifth Reality was gone, leaving his equipment, reputation, and women for Sangre de Cristo to enjoy, with few folks the wiser.
