Character Bio

Adventure, women, and mead had been the sum total of the burly Olav Ansgar'slife, and while his family name meant "Spear of the Gods," his spear of preference most often got him into trouble with the local husbands. It was in that vein that Olav, drunken and lecherous, took Helga into the shrine of Uller for a private tryst before stealing the Uller diamond. After Helga's fine form shifted and became a rather irritated Uller himself, god of winter and ice, Olav would like to tell a tale of bravery, but wetting himself doesn't make for fine tales. Instead, he trembled and swayed as the winter god lectured him on his failures, burned a tattoo into his chest and told him to try harder in the next life if Valhalla was his goal. Uller then disappeared as the ice-carved shrine caved in. When archeologists thawed his frozen body, Olav immediately set about righting his wrongs, first by learning to bathe and then by traveling to Paragon City. After a time he got the bathing part down.
