The last thing I remember was soaring in battle with a massive Rikti warship. It started firing on my team. I dove to their aid, trailing blue energy in my wake. There was an ear-splitting roar, a bright green flash. And then I was here.

They say Eric died, killed by the Rikti along with his wife and the SOLUS Collective, that I was cloned by Crey Tech to be a Paragon Protector - part of the Revenant Hero Project, that these memories aren?t really mine, that Brandon Moore isn?t my son, that Captain Superior - the man who rescued me from the Countess? vats - is not really my friend.

I see the look on their faces - on Brandon?s, on Cap?s, on everyone else in this new SOLUS *Foundation*. I tell myself it?s the Peacebringer inside me, the alien I had to let live inside me to keep us both alive. Their eyes tell me differently.
