Character Bio

As a shy, brilliant 16 yr old, Bonny Rose was awarded a full scholarship to MIT. At 18, while presenting a paper at a conference in Paragon City, Bonny and several other students were captured by Nemesis. A team of Ghosts Reborn broke into the facility, and rescued every student except Bonny, leaving her behind even as she screamed for help. She was a virtual slave to the Nemesis automoton project for 3 years. When she refused to help, she was tortured and maimed. Finally, her keepers trusted her enough that she was able to build her own robot and, with it, escape. She fled to Paragon, only to be arrested as a Nemesis minion because of false evidence planted by Nemesis and imprisoned. Angry and betrayed by the system she trusted, Bonny changed her name to Ebony Rose, used her knowledge of robotics to escape, and fled to the Rogue Isles to plan her revenge. She found her way to the Shades of Vengence, a group whose leaders hated the Ghosts and the other heroes of Paragon as much as she had learned to.
