Character Bio

Maurgyn FitzMatthew was born in Elanthia - a world of elves and orcs, swords and sorcery, Lords, Ladies and capricious gods. One of those gods was Mularos the Sorrower, a god of pain whose worshippers gained favor through acts of sado-masochistic decadence. When a religious uprising threatened the well-being of his friends and family, a few of them chose exile on Earth in order to wait out the storm. Maurgyn joined them, seeing their haven as an excellent place to spread the word of Mularos and gain the power he craved. Choosing a base in the lawless Rogue Islands, he set up the Cult of the Pierced Heart, recruiting dozens of meta-powered villains and hundreds of other young, hungry followers, all eager and willing to join in all the sinful decadence their leader could supply. Once the uprising passed and his friends and father were gone, Maurgyn remained. After all, in a world where so many relished the life his god provided, there would be no end of power for Mularos' Gift to their world.
