Character Bio

In 1939, girl reporter for the Midland World-Courier Kathy Kelly started a decade long obsession with proving that Craig Sanders, owner of the Midland Cougars football team and the Midland Grape Bowl stadium, was in actuallity the super-hero known as Thunderfist. She never did get the proof she needed, but got her man in the end, marrying Craig in 1951 and finally learning the truth. Thunderfist retired in 1955, but in 1953, while accompanying Craig on a mission to a sub-atomic universe, Kathy was given the power of eternal youth. Craig passed away in 1987 from heart disease, and Kathy has been active as a force for good ever since, even now into her eighties. She wears the Order of Liberty badge that was awarded posthumously to Craig for a lifetime of work.
