Character Bio

While treking across the Austrailian Outback looking for undescovered metorites for her doctoral thesis, Rachel Waverly, happend upon a rather unique stone. It felt un-naturally warm, and with further examination, it was discovered to be emitting waves of radiant particals that seemed to both energize her body and destablize the bodies of those around her. After finding out the effects, Rachel strove to find a way to block the harmful effects of it on others, when she noticed that it seemed to be less effective when surrounded by other more metallic stones of an unknown origin. While constructing a suit that would let her harness the energizing properties of the stone, her best friend became violently sick, and while wishing that she could help her friend, she noticed that she could project some of the energizing properties of the stone toward her friend. Upon healing her friend, Rachel decided to take the unknown metal and the radiant stone and become a hero called Partical Wave.
