Character Bio

Cadence Young was born to a tradition of honor and service.  As the only PPD member who was also in Powers Division, her father, Josh Young, better known as Blue Shield, is a trusted associate of both Provost Marchand and Praetor White.   Her mother, code named Amplitude, was also in Powers Division, killed rescuing patients from a children's hospital targeted by a Resistance bomber. 

Cady's greatest ambition was to be able to emulate her parents' service to the people of Praetoria.  Unfortunately, although her father nicknamed her Lyrical for her lovely voice, it was not superpowered.  Cady made her first sacrifice for the Empire by volunteering to undergo sterilizing radiation treatment which brought out latent talents in fire manipulation.

The operation was a success, and she is delighted to have finally been accorded the honor of service in the Powers Division.
