There was light ahead of me, and darkness surrounding. I had no recollection of how I came to this place, or any memory of who I was. All I could feel was pain, intense pain. Helpless in the physical world, my subconscious was everything. But something had changed inside. Bright apparitions had appeared before me. It was there all along. I could make it stop. The pain. The blinding light. The surrounding darkness. Controlling those around me. My mind had taken over.
