Character Bio

Former Army Ranger, Wayne Lockheed, was visiting his family when the Rikti Invasion occured. His entire family was wiped out in the ensueing battles. Wayne watched his family shot and tortured in front of his eyes. He survived, though only after torture.

Visions of the Rikti and his family caused Wayne to wake up only to find himself laying in a hospital bed. During his stay, Wayne put himself through physical rehab.

Not understanding why he lived and his family didn't, Wayne left the hospital.

Wayne was found laying in an alley by a man he had never seen before wearing a strange blue suit. The stranger helped Wayne see what good he can do for Paragon and his family's memory if he can hone his skills and training. Wayne took the advice as a second chance on life.

Donning the costume as Knight Ranger, Wayne uses the pain of what the Rikti had done to return vengeance to them and all who do wrong. Some have called Knight Ranger, Paragon's Silent Sentinel: quiet and methodical.
