Character Bio

Once Byshop had reached the pinnacle of his dark magic powers he was asked to be the department head at the Occult Studies Annex in the newly reopened Croatoa. During a rather nasty fight with the Jack of Irons, he was mortally wounded by a mysterious assassin. While he lay dying, he was found by Shadowstar and asked to merge with a reformed Nictus. The merging process went rather well given Byshop's constant exposure to dark energy during his adventures. However given that his powers were magical in nature, the scientists at SERAPH and researchers at MAGI developed a suit to aid in the transition until Byshop's body could adjust to his new abilities. They offered to remove the scar from his attack, but he refused. He needed a reminder of how even the most experienced heroes can be meet their end as quickly as new heroes.
