One of a number of children cross-bred by the Devouring Earth in a campaign to infiltrate human society, Sara Demaris was created by monsters to be a monster. From birth, she was programmed not to think of herself as human, but as one of a superrace of Earth's heirs, who would rule when mankind had been obliterated.

She grew, she was trained, and she was put out to the Rogue Isles to further the Devouring Earth's aims. And she was very, very good.

But the DE made one mistake. They made her smart. With intellect came reason, and with reason, came the ability to see the true horror that was the DE's plan for the world.

After a daring escape, Sara was granted asylum in Paragon City, and now seeks to foil the DE's plans for her true kind -- humanity.
