Character Bio

Neither Kris nor his wife Kayla suspected what they were getting into when they stopped to help the old stranger on their way to their honeymoon. The old man had long, flowing hair down to his ankles and wore strange, handwoven clothing and though he struggled to catch his footing, his limbs were hard as rock. He clasped their hands together, whispering to them that their hearts were worthy and pure, and then dissolved into a pile of dust as though a thousand years overdue.

Later that night, both husband and wife felt the stirrings of the power in their blood, and with the dawning of the new day they set out to use the gift with which they'd been entrusted together, soon finding that their powers enhanced and complemented one another making the two of them more formiddable than either alone.

Kris Mason, once known as Uppercut, still retains his preternatural strength and augments it with his newfound power over the earth itself in the fight against evil alongside his beloved wife.
