0ndine and her friend 4sh once scoured most Praetoria tournaments as Rockemon trainers. The culminating point - and somewhat tragic - of their career was their duel in the annual tournament of Nova.
After an epic fight, 4sh was declared winner, and during the protocolary parade that followed, some unwanted freeloaders interfered, including Regis & Kevin from Team Sprocket.
Their reaction was swift, and the procession went into a brawl.
4sh kept his title despite overflows. However, 0ndine lost her licence for future tournaments.
Enraged, she looked for other means to keep using the power from her creatures. She created the Gene Ball, some sort of genomic osmosis device from a creature to his master.
The test with Squishtle was perfectly convincing, but the one on Pikachuchu, too nervous, substancially less, but much powerful though...
Concerning Bowlbazaar... well, he just exploded...
