Character Bio

In some of the oldest stories and arcane legends in the northern parts of the world, there are hints of the creature known only as the Winterchild. Most commonly appearing on her own during the winter, earning her name, the Winterchild is often just as cruel as she is kind. Her personality tends to mirror the season she favors. Beautiful and peaceful, harsh and unforgiving.

She has appeared in the form of a young girl, an old woman, a wolf and even a fairy, and none appear to be any more her true form than the next. While she looks human most of the time, powerful mystics can tell she is a being of pure magic.

Her powers cover, obviously, the bitter embrace of winter, and the ability to manipulate time in small pockets, similar to how ice and snow can make time look like it has slowed to a stop.

-Bitterly cold or kindly and helpful to those who she views deserve either.
-Mystics can easily detect her power, and more powerful ones can tell it is not from this realm.
