Character Bio

Aging prize fighter, Marc Clay, was looking to recapture the glory of his career.  Even though he was a Champion level figher, he couldn't keep up with these up and coming young bucks.  Seeking a way to slow his aging and regain his fading strenght, Marc sought out a former SERAPH scientist, Doug Queen.  Queen, tired of general research, was now looking to profit from his expertise.  Queen exposed Clay to an experimental device "acquired" from his former employer.  The device opened a dimensional aperture, which bathed Clay with an unknown energy.  Clay felt his strength and stamina increase, but now his body had the strange side effect of emitting a mysterious gas.  Realizing that his new powers could be better used for good, instead of mindless entertainment for the masses, Gaseous Clay wanders Paragon City to thwart evil.  He seeks to better learn to control his powers and cure the emissions.
