Character Bio

An earnest, resourceful typesetter at Paragon Publishing, a family-owned printing service, Jet Racine is affectionately called Ink Jet by employees to differentiate him from the owner (his dad). However his mutated gene pool lent a different definition: the spines he shed -- like most people cast off skin cells -- contained an inky toxin. With meditation & practice he learned to control & direct his bio-chemistry to best effect when it came to bringing down the evils of Paragon City. As a raw vigalante, still experimenting w/his skills, he met the young heroine Pretty Pill, & was smitten. Never good w/words or affection, he showed his adoration the only way he knew how, by taking care of her. He kept her safe, cleared the way for her successes & made sure that others treated her w/respect. They formed a partnership that soon led to love & are oft seen fighting side-by-side in the city streets, trailed by Ink's sidekick, a Traditionalist Rikti monkey he rescued during a raid on a Rikti ship in the war zone.
